I agree with Mary Alice - professional development of staff is a key role for the teacher-librarian because it is easier to teach 20+ (as in my school) than 450. Teachers can then teach their students. Research continues to prove that the greatest factor influencing student use of the library is the way their teacher uses it, so target the teachers. If you have the expertise to teach the new technology, then do so, but if you don't, make it your responsibility to arrange someone who can. Offer the training at a couple of different times so you can catch the most people and allow time for them to practise what they have learned there and then.
