I have an art teacher who is interested in my reading a book to a 3rd grade class, and helping the children pick characters. Since we are both on fixed schedules, they will make paper mache masks in art, while I help them write a play. She suggested taping it, they tend to giggle while performing it for younger students. This is my first year , and has anyone ever done this? What books do you recommend? The class has 18 students. She did it once with a variant of Cinderella. Thank you !
