Hello everyone, I have recently sent email to people on AOL, and it has come back refused by AOL. This includes thank-yous I sent to individuals on this listserv. I have been communicating with another individual regarding graduate courses, and all of a sudden we cannot communicate anymore because they refuse to allow my emails to go through. I have talked with the Tech Director here, and he said that AOL is refusing the email because they don't like the way we are set up (we go through a local service). Basically, they want to control the email services. What do you folks think about this situation? Frankly, I'm more than a little irritated, moving toward frustration and anger -- I cannot send email to anyone I want to because someone wants total control. Has anyone else run into this situation yet (it just started occurring with me this past Saturday). Using the collective knowledge and support here, what should we do? Thanks.
