We have a new superintendent who is being very thorough about a lot of things. He wants to get accurate job descriptions for all positions and has handed out some "generic" ones for us to work from. I have pulled a number of LMS job descriptions from the web, so many, in fact, that I'm a little dizzy with the amount. It occurs to me that there may be some things that need to be in this job description for the future of this library (altho I suppose that if someone dislikes it, all they have to do is change the job description.) I know I want something in it about cooperative planning and teaching with the classroom teachers. WHAT ELSE? Help me, marvelous LMnetters! What are the absolutely crucial pieces that should be in this job description?
