I'm working on a research project to finish up my MLS degree, comparing standardized test scores and Library Media programs in Connecticut. I'm looking for a good book to help me sort out the statistical part of my project, including telling me how to figure out stuff like Pearson Correlation, Probability, P-Values and other fun stuff like that. It doesn't have to be a book specific to library research, although if there's one out there that someone recommends, I'd be happy to use it. I do have some suggested books from my professor, but I haven't been that impressed with them.
