Thanks to all who responded to my original question about sharing teacher-made AR tests with other schools. I heard back from AR today and they admitted I had been given the wrong information. It is NOT a copyright violation to share teacher-made tests. As far as creating home-made tests, I use Word to determine the reading level, which is probably not accurate anymore since all their tests have been switched to ATOS. If there is a better way, I'd love to hear about it.
