Colleagues, Along with my media specialist duties, I am teaching a Children's Literature course at a local college. The alumni department forwarded this request to me. Can you help? I have located two similiar (but too recent) titles, but I'd love to find the actual book. It's my first semester teaching there so I want to *dazzle* them! :) Here's the request: "... This is probably a very crazy question , but whenever my wife (Class of 1981???) speaks of her time at Alfred , she remembers a Children's lit class... and now that we have children, she mentions it more often. I'd like to locate "one potato, two potato," a puzzle and game book used in the course in the 1980's, and provide it for her as a surprise gift. Can the professor and or the book be located ? Can I get an ISBN number ?" The titles I HAVE located are: One potato, two potato, three potato, four : 165 chants for children / compiled by Mary Lou Colgin. 1982 (This is a book of chants, not games) Hopscotch, hangman, hot-potato, and ha, ha, ha : a rule book of children's games / Jack Maguire ; foreword by Bob "Captain Kangaroo" Keeshan. (1990) If you can help me, I'd really appreciate it!
