end-of-year advice needed

Hello,

I hope this doesn't seem too stupid, but as a first
year librarian, the thought of "closing up shop" at
the end of this school year frightens me!  I know I
have to do inventory, I know I have to get equipment
back and other misc tasks, but what else?

Any suggestions on "other" things I should do? Things
you wish someone had told you at the end of your first
year?   Also, those of you who do not have an extended
contract, when do you shut your library down?
