Hello all: Yesterday, a 7th grade class was mighty rude to a substitute and all were chastised by the returning classroom teacher. He wants some help finding any appropriate books (novels or picture books) that deal with the idea of welcoming strangers with warmth and compassion, or perhaps a morality tale about being rude to strangers. I know there are picture books about "being the new kid at school" and trying to fit in (such as Molly's Pilgrim), but that isn't going to work.
