Julie, I must respectfully but strongly disagree with you. Through many years of experience, I can state without any hesitation that you need all the computer screens to be visible from one vantage point (At most two) so you can easily monitor what the students are doing. You can even tell which students need assistance just by glancing at the screens. If you have pods, all you do is walk in circles, and some students will choose the spots you cannot easily monitor and have fun changing settings, or visiting online game sites, and other "interesting" things.
