I think I would ask ( very sweetly, of course) if the student that misses the lesson will be available next period to do the work he/she missed during the scheduled library class period. If that doesn't get attention, the next time any of those students do come to library keep them after so they can make up their missed work. Be sure to send a note stating that to the teacher when the rest of the class goes back. Of course, have them, do the makeup work and then send them back as soon as you can. Have any of you dealt with this before. I should probably nip it in the bud, huh? +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Marcia Dressel, Librarian Osceola Elementary and Intermediate Schools 250 Tenth Ave E Osceola, WI 54020-0128 USA dressel@osceola.k12.wi.us Be well, do good work, and keep in touch. -- Garrison Keillor +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
