HIT: moving books to new facility

I got so many wonderful responses to my message about moving books from the
old library to the new media center which is just a short walk away.
Virtually everyone who has tried using students and volunteers to make the
move has been so pleased with how things have worked out. I talked with my
principal this morning and she's very excited about involving so many people
and making it a memorable event.

Every year since I have been at the school (now 8) I have passed out polished
rocks (thanks to my dad) to the kids on the last day of library and often
read a book about rocks. The kids look forward to this each year and were
very concerned that I might not do it this year. So, my reward to the kids
for helping will be a small polished rock.  Now I just need a move in date!
