SO many of us are having the same problem, it's incredible. In fact, =
only one person responded that his library does not experience this =
problem. The solutions offered included,
1. Check the screen EACH time you check in a book to make sure it's =
checked in (although errors STILL occur),
2. Ask Athena to provide a different "sound" (the beep) for =
irregularities (not apt to happen any time soon, it sounds), and
3. Perform "full circulation checks" often -- beginning and end of each =
day.
Nobody has the definitive answer, but it is a universal problem. We =
should alert Athena!
