I am junior high school library media specialist writing a grant to our district's educational foundation with my PTO president. We are writing the grant to create classroom paperback libraries in our language arts classrooms. The educational foundation is interested in "innovative and creative" projects. Do you have any suggestions or slogans that we could use in our grant to fit those areas of interest? The overall goal is to put a small classroom library in each reading and writing classroom. Students will be able to use and check out those materials in their classroom. Some teachers have created these libraries with their personal funds however our goal is for every LA classroom to have a collection. This project will not take away the importance of the school's library media collection. Thank you for your help! We appreciate any suggestions you might have. Sincerely, Lois McDermott -- Lois J.
