Folks,
I'm looking for the original source of an oft-quoted line by Theordore
Sizer:
"Not surprisingly, one good way to start designing an essential school is
to plan a library and let its shadow shape the rest."
We're using this in a needs statement we have to submit to a task force
overseeing expansion of our libraries, and the administrator in our study
group wants us to find the original source of the quote. All we can find
is people who USE it, but don't cite the document where it can be found.
If it looks familiar to anyone, I'd appreciate the help. TIA.
