Good morning, LM-NETters!

I am counseling a woman who is starting to homeschool her
seventh grade daughter and fifth grade son. I have been
asked to recommend novels that the three of them can
read together.

I don't have a lot of details regarding their interests when it
comes to reading. They are both strong readers, though. He
has recently taken up the violin and loves it. She read
'Charlotte Doyle' (on my recommendation,
thankyouverymuch) and loved it; he read 'Holes' (ditto) and
he enjoyed that. I know -- not much to go on.

I've been working grades 9-12 so long that my mind has
gone blank. (At least that's as good an explanation as any.)
Any suggestions you can offer would be gratefully received,
and I will post a hit.

Thanks, everybody!
