In my high school, students must have a pass from a teacher to come to = the LMC. Some come from study hall and stay for the period. If students = are sent from a class they're allowed to return. When they arrive, each student must sign in--name, time, and class = period. Some teachers are now stating that if they send a student, they don't = know whether that student actually came to the library. They want = students to leave 5 minutes before the end of the period and check back = into their class. I'd rather not do that, since it means that I spend a = lot of my time simply signing planners. What system do you use for passing students in and out of the library = media center? Thanks for the help, MZ Mary G.
