The school social worker approached me regarding "biblio-therapy" for a sixth grade girl who is currently in a foster home and having a very difficult time adjusting. The social worker felt that books might be a good vehicle in getting her to open up. We are looking for fiction books on foster care, child abuse, abandonment, and eating disorders. Please email any suggestions directly to me and I will post a HIT. TIA!
