TAR: help with book title

Dear LM_Netters,
 This wonderful group always seems to have the answers, so I'll give this a
try.  I have a parent looking for a book he read as a child, possibly from
the 6o's or earlier.  He thinks the title is "Super Baby" on the cover the
title is in script with baseball pinstripes (possibly) in the background.
The story is about a boy who is genetically engineered to be good at
baseball, and he grows up to become a real baseball player.  If anyone
recognizes this "description" please e-mail me off list.  THank you in
advance for your help.
