**One thing we do here- an all-male student body and lot's of male teachers - is have a Ladies Night Out about once a month or so. Last year we did a theme - "Around the World": a pizza shop one month, an Irish pub style restaurant, a French cuisine, a Mexican restaurant, etc. This year we have just been getting together, but next year we plan to do "Come to the Inn" - and go to places with Inn in their names. One year we also did "Celebrations" and tied in the place with small joke gifts: Sept: start-of-school and gifts to start the year and a place with First or One in name, etc. At Christmas we put all the money we would have spent and bought a dinner to send to a family that we knew needed it ( we got the name from one of our pastors. A family that was having a bit of hard times) **I also worked at a school where once month we had a pot-luck lunch - in winter one of the teachers would put on the crock pot to the teacher's lounge and some of us would bring ingredients to add to it and make soup - great smell - and then others would bring in rolls, etc. In warm weather we shared salads and finger foods. Our faculty consists of about 55 people and we need some easy ideas for everyone to enjoy. We have the Christmas season covered. But what do you doafter the holidays? As we all know, there's not much extra time in the schoolday for ourselves and we need some "perk me ups" in our school.
