Please read the following survey and answer the questions by choosing
"Strongly Disagree" (SD), "Disagree" (D), "Uncertain" (U), "Agree" (A), and
"Strongly Agree" (SA).  Please send this email back to me as a reply.  This
survey will be used in a research project I am conducting for a class at
East Carolina University.  Thanks for your help!


1. Technology is an important teaching tool in schools today, and it needs
to be updated.
2. Students need to be more aware of technology resources available to them
at their school.
3. Training sessions should be made available to teachers when the library
media center acquires new equipment.
4. Laptops are needed in elementary schools.
5. Students only request to checkout or use technology resources that their
teachers use.
6. Teachers use VCRs and TVs more than any other technology resource found
in the library media center.
7. Training on the use of technology resources will increase circulation of
these resources.
8. Outdated technology resources need to be kept in order to show a large
inventory for technology
  resources.
9. There is a need for increased funding to purchase more technology
resources for media centers.
10. Computers should be available in library media centers for student and
teacher use.
11. Outdated filmstrips should be discarded from library media centers.
12. Smart Boards are not frequently used or checked out from library media
centers.
13. Elementary school library media centers lack important technology
resources.
14. It is important to provide students and teachers with access to
technology resources.
15. Providing up-to-date technology resources to elementary students is not
important.
16. Outdated technology equipment is not used.
17. Librarians only purchase technology resources that they know how to
operate.
18. A multimedia retrieval system would be a good purchase for a library
media center.
19. Most computer software should be updated annually.
20. Technology resources are not used frequently in elementary school
library media centers.
