LM_NET Archive



This is a very lengthy hit. So I have divided this into 3 different
parts. Thanks to all of you who helped make me look like a 'library
queen/wonder woman'. I could not have done this without you-all. I
incorporated your ideas and some original ones to comprise this HIT.

Reading Night Plans
--early arrivers will decorated tagboard cut outs of dog bones as their
name tags. To be done in the cafeteria with materials provided i.e.
markers, cut outs..
--From 6:00-6:20 our principal will lead a book discussion of Because of
Winn-Dixie.
--From 6:20-6:40 --cafeteria and a classroom
       --craft 1--create a "Ten Best Things" scroll made with parchment
type copier paper,=20
       Room 2--craft 2--make a friendship bracelet out of yarn or
crochet thread or both.=20
--From 6:40-7:00--switch places. Everyone will be doing 2 crafts.
As attendees depart, a teacher dressed as a dog will had out a treat bag
of dog-bone shaped candy and a pencil with dogs on it.(gotten from
Oriental Trader).
--Attendees will have chances to win numerous doorprizes i.e.:stuffed
dogs, bean-bag dogs, grocery gift certificates, books whose character is
a dog, bookmarks--with dogs on them, a cookie jar with dog paw prints on
the outside that is filled with dog bone shaped sugar cookies--the
person who guesses the closest gets this one.
