What do you do when you can't see the full Dewey Decimal call number on = the spine of the book? My labels wrap to the front of the book so you = can't readily see the extension on narrow spines. My parapro doesn't = think it's a problem, she says she shelves by the front cover label; = however, there are some horribly messed up sections when there are lots = of extensions that can't be seen on the spine. At present I am = handwriting the extension when I shelve, but that's going to look pretty = tacky.
