A teacher in my school came to me today with an idea. He would like to make cassette tape recordings of various stories for students to take home and use for practice in reading. He doesn't know exactly how many, but would like it to be "alot." My first reaction was to say that he is violating copyright law since cassette recordings of books can be purchased. But I told him that I would put the scenario out there for someone better versed in copyright issues. Any advice? Am I correct?
