Backups - Athena Users

Athena Users,

How long does it take you to back up?  And WHEN do you do backups?  My aide
is working on new books fairly often and so she needs to backup almost
everyday.  It's taking us almost an hour each time, and since everyone has
to be out of Athena, we running into the problem of not being able to give
our patrons access to the online catalog after school.  (Our collection is
around 11,000).  How do you all get around this, or do you have the same
problem?
