FOR LIBRARIANS IN EUROPE: Travel Question

How lucky I am to have LM_NET friends all over the world!  =20
    Before this war began, my husband and I had been talking about =
vacationing in Europe during the summer.  He'd especially like to return =
to Germany, where we lived for five years; I'd love to return to the UK. =
 Actually, we could do both.  But, I am wondering, since Germany does =
not support the US involvement in Iraq, does there seem to be hostility =
toward Americans in Germany at the present time?  And what is the =
present climate toward Americans in France?
