Mid, High: New Resiliency Bulletin Board

Hi all,

Media specialists are invited to access and use the resiliency bulletin
board at www.askdrjami.org   This bulletin board feature was built in
response to the high number of e-mails that I received after my March 3 "My
Turn" column about the value of media specialists in reaching out to
students in need was published in Newsweek  While we are not psycholigists,
we can make a difference. The resiliency research indicates just how
important librarians and media specialists and their services and programs
are to the development of resiliency!

I look forward to the growth of the bulletin board as a place where media
specialists with an interest in promoting resiliency in teens can meet to
share their ideas, programs, and services.

address in the box on the home page.
