I realized I didn't post a HIT from a recent TARGET as I was hoping for
more input. As I'm sure many of you realize, you usually get more
requests for a HIT than replies:-)
I did, however, get ONE reply that had input and it was VERY good, so I
want to share it.
_Library Volunteers in School Libraries_ by Suzanne L. Gill, A.M.L.S.,

which can be found "published" (2000) at http://www.slgill.com/vol.htm
is a very in depth, detailed resource that will give you ideas of things
you need to include. Suzanne graciously allowed me to draw heavily on
her publication to produce a Volunteer Handbook for our school. I'm
still revising the one I've created. Thanks to being able to cut and
paste I am pulling together visual "how to's" to go along with
circulation procedures and the like. What I thought would be tedious
work is turning out to be a fun project. However, I've gone places in
Word that no person should go;-) _Word for Dummies_ was created with me
in mind!
