Adam, I love your website for authors but I have one question...since you are using the covers of the books on your website, are these generated by a digital photo that you have taken or it is from another source? How does this relate to copyright issues? We have argued this (I know) several times, but I keep seeing book covers being used by librarians to promote books on school websites. However, it was my understanding that you must have permission from the publisher in order to put the cover on a website. (I know I had to do this at the university level to promote the Harry Potter book ...and others...) Please tell me I'm wrong...I'd love to do this too on my website because a "visual" helps in promoting the book....but everything in me says that I'd be violating copyright. How'd you do it? ~Shonda Brisco Trinity Valley MS / US Librarian Fort Worth, TX sbrisco021@charter.net =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
