The gifted teacher at our school is trying to build a classroom library for his
middle school students (grades 6 - 8). He asked me to recommend books. I have
spent a few tdays searching for lists and have come up with several. I also
recommended he survey the kids and ask them to make selections from the book clubs.
I think the best advice I can possibly get is from you. What books, genres, and
authors are your most able middle school readers drawn to?
