A question recently came up regarding licensed software. As many schools do, our school has a multiple user license for a number of software programs. One of the teachers said that this license is extended to teachers as a "professional courtesy". In other words, teachers should be allowed to install the same software on their home computers under the license agreement so tht they can learn to use the software, have access to it at home for planning, etc. Does anyone have any factual information about whether the multiple user licences for software in schools can be used by teachers on their own computers as well? Thanks.
