I keep a stash of Lysol /Clorox wipes near the circ desk, and while
you are not supposed to use them for "body cleansing" (likely due to
the chemicals!), I use them to wipe down the phone, keyboards, and even
the books - (well, the mylar covered ones anyway!)... you'd be
surprised how dirty those book covers are... OTOH... you probably
WOULDN'T be surprised how gross the books really are, once you've wiped
them off. I had one child remark that the book looks like new again!
While the wipes are pricey ($3.00 or so for 25-30) - I stocked up when
they were on sale for 1.25, and used coupons... so after several visits
to the store, ended up with 24 containers for 15 cents each! I'm well
stocked now!
Anyone know if Baby wipes (the antibacterial kind) would serve the same
purpose and have the same results?
