All of our inter-library loans are processed through our local BOCES who
delivers daily. I am not sure I could exist well without inter-library loan.
Once we went on-line and our catalog was accesible to everyone in the
surrounding counties the demand increased. Our collection has excellent
Roman Catholic theological materials and I also accepted gifts of over 1,000
titles ( popular adult fiction, mysteries, biographies) recently from
several parents. I also have posted above the computers the web site for the
public libraries, both city and suburban - and so many more students request
materials from those sites.
Inter-library loan is also very helpful for teachers working on Masters
programs.
