I apologize if this is a re-hash of an old topic. My elementary library, like so many others, is swamped. Keeping up with the shelving of materials is difficult at best. I know other schools take advantage of upper elementary students (5th is our highest) to help out with such tasks. I would like info on how this works in different schools. Do the kids miss recess to help? Do they come down when they finish their work in a certain subject? Do they come down every day or once a week? What are the criteria for who can come help (application process?)? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks, Susan R.
