Biographies

I am looking to update our biography section this year.  We
have a lot of historical biographies, but are severely
lacking on more "current" titles, like those about sports
or entertainment stars, or public figures.  What I now need
to find are good sources for such titles or series.  There
are so many out there, and I'm sure that some have better
quality than others.  Do you have a favorite publisher or
series for these types of books?  I also am looking for
some more simple biographies for lower reading levels.  You
can reply to me off the list...I really appreciate any help
you can offer.
