I love Beach Day!  Everyone wears their Bermuda shorts and brings a beach
towel. Decorate with pineapples, coconuts, etc.   The school supplies a lei for
everyone (fairly inexpensive from Oriental Trading catalog)  Several times
throughout the day, students are allowed to spread their towels in the
classroom, hallways, etc. and have free reading time.
