Target: 6th grade science fiction

[JANICE UNGAR <JUNGAR@FERNDALESCHOOLS.ORG>]

I have a sixth grade teacher looking for a science fiction book to use in =
conjunction with teaching science.  He does not want fantasy which leaves =
out most of what I have been able to find.  There are many poor readers in =
our school and I am leary of getting into harder a reading level.
Do you have any suggestions to help?
