Tech: Platform choice to support Follett automation program

We are considering changing our library automation
program from WinnebagoMac to Follett 5.05  including their Web
Collection Plus to access the OPAC via web browser.  We have 4 PC's and 4 Macs in 
the library.
For those librarians who use Follett, is there any
preference in using a Mac server and Mac workstation
vs. a PC server and workstation to run the Follett
program?  Any recommendations?  (I have both Macs and
PCs in the library).  Also, is a dedicated library
server preferred to sharing a server with the
technology lab?  The available G3MacOSX would be the dedicated library server, 
however, the PC server would be shared.  Or, should I negotiate to trade the Mac 
for the PC server to have a dedicated PC server in the library?
