This is the questions we agreed on, below is all the different responses.  Thanks

experiences that prepare you to work with young
children?  Describe any experiences you've had with specific book inventory system

checking books in and out.   What do you think would be the two daily priorities 
for this position?  How do you respond to the student who loves to read but forgot 
to return her
books for the second week in a row?  What ideas do you have to promote reading in 
the media center?  How comfortable would you be in reading a story to kindergarten 
students
without the direct supervision of the media specialist?  What experiences have you 
had organizing materials?   Can you describe a specific problem you had in working 
with a child and how
you solved it?  What role do parent volunteers play in the media center.  What 
experiences have you had with book fairs?  How do you handle someone that has 
immediate demands?  Tell us some of your favorite children's books. Did you have a 
favorite book
as child?  Some people like to have lots of details and others like to approach a 
task
and decide how to do it along the way. How do you like to approach a task?  Tell us 
why you're interested in this position.

the job will be reshelving and book processing are you comfortable with that. 10. 
Sometimes creative opportunities arise such as displays, posters, etc.  Would you 
be interested those opportunities.  11. Are you good at following directions? 12.  
Working with library books involves attention to detail - is this a strong ability 
for you? 13. Often students come in and ask for information for reports, etc - what 
would be your steps in assisting them? 14. What experience have you had searching 
the internet? What search engines do you like and how do you prefer to search? 15. 
Students often need a book in a specific genre -how would go about finding a book 
for them? 16. How familiar are you with children's literature?     1. How familiar 
are you with libraries and the Dewey Decimal System?   2. Please explain your 
experience with computers. (software, Internet,

having to put tasks on

Describe your organizational skills. This job involves bending and lifting.  Will 
this pose a problem for you. What would you do if you found a book in our library, 
which you found offensive? Are you comfortable giving directions to adult 
volunteers? What is your favorite children's book? Why? How would you handle having 
your own child in this building? (if applies) What do you feel is the most 
important aspect of discipline? You are helping a student when a teacher comes up 
and needs a book checked out immediately so she can get back to class. How do you 
respond?   Do you have patience and enjoy working with children? (Not a 
"no-brainer")?  Are you a person who can work flexibly or are you rigid in terms of 
beginning and finishing  a task?  Some people can't stand constant interruptions.  
Do you have basic technology skills?  Are you afraid of using the computer to check 
books in and out and search for books?
