I am moving to HS from intermediate classroom and am not "up" on the current
HS reading, both suggested and leisure. Of course, I know that teens read
"adult" fiction, but what I am looking for are books that I should know and
perhaps have read before I embark on this new leg of my career.

I've searched the archives and cannot find anything (HIT) that post-dates
1998. I was not successful on YALSA either. (couldn't download a .pdf
file---kept freezing up.)

I suspect that the collection I am inheriting may be missing a few things
(already had Mackin do an analysis), but I'd appreciate titles or authors
from the pros...you guys. I'd also like to do some reading before school
starts. I know that this age doesn't read for pleasure as much, but I do
want to know what they are reading WHEN they do read.
