I just came across an AP report of how libraries are using Amazon to
solicit donations. Over 300 libraries nationwide have sought donations
by posting a list to Amazon.com. Mitch Freedman, of the ALA, said that
although libraries are too important to fund by charity, but the
situation is too dire to stand on principle.
