Speaking of HP, does anyone out there know if the term "git" (which is
liberally sprinkled in the new book) still means child born out of wedlock? I
seem to remember the term from an old Beetles song from the 60s. The line
was:

"...and curse Sir Walter Raleigh, he was such a stupid git."
