I have no experience using computerized reading programs such as AR or = Book Adventure, but have recently been looking into them. I'm curious = about the opinions that are out there from folks that have used these, = or similar programs. Most of what I discovered on their respective = websites and other articles leads me to think that I would not use = either program. AR is quite costly and in an age of budget cuts doesn't = seem justified. Book Adventure is free, but I was unimpressed with the = quality of their quizzes. They seem to focus on insignificant details. = I personally feel that there are more effective and less commercialized/ = incentive-based methods for motivating readers. What are your thoughts? Thanks! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
