My elementary school is going to have elective classes
each quarter for the gifted students for the first
time next year. If anyone has any suggestions for an
elective class for Kindergarten thru Fifth grade, I'd
love to hear from you. Currently I am trying to opt
out of teaching an elective because this would leave
me with only two 40 minute planning/open periods a
week on my fixed schedule to do all my "library stuff"
(as opposed to my "teaching stuff"). However, I might
not have an option and might have to teach at least
one quarter. Thanks for your suggestions!
