Subject: Re: Summer Reading

I just finished reading Rick Riordan's "Cold Springs" and I loved it!
Good suspense and a very realistic story line. I'm definitely looking up
his other books!

Jane Smiley's newest book about a real estate agent/developer- his
life, loves, and mistakes during the 70's real estate boom is called "In
Good Faith". It was delightful.

Also, "There Are No Shortcuts", by Los Angeles fifth grade teacher, Rafe
Esquith is an interesting read. He discusses his personal teaching
philosophy with regards to reading and math. Very motivating!

books of the son of one of my best

Riordan. Rick just finished his 4th book - all of which have won
accolades in the mystery genre. If you want more info, contact me, or
check his books out on Amazon.
