IP address on pc

Hi,

I am keeping a record of all IP address assigned in our building. With the
Macintosh I merely go to control panel and open TCP/IP and I can find the
assigned address. How do I do this on a pc. When I go to control panel and
my connection and TCP/IP on my Dell it just says "automatically assigned."

Help will be greatly appreciated.
