4th and 5th Grade

Hello
I am a MLS Graduate Student being considered for a Media Specialist in an 
elementary school with only 4th and 5th grades.

I need some good advice from those of you with experience concerning programs and 
activities for this particular age group.

What have you done that works and what doesn't work.  What activities do they 
enjoy.  I would surely appreciate hearing from you.
