TARGET: Library Bill of Rights and SLMC

HELP!  I need some language to include in our District Library Media
Curriculum Document that was presented to our school board's C&I
committee this week.  It will come before the entire Board next Tuesday,
the 10th. The language needs to reconsile the concept of free access
expressed in the ALA Library Bill of Rights and the Interpretation of
the Library Bill of Rights for School Libraries with the reality of what
is appropriate for the K-5 students, Middle school students and high
school students.  We have at least one Board member who will insert his
own language if we do not have good solid language ourselves.
This website has the Library Bill of Rights and the Interpretation.

Any suggestions will be appreciated! Our steering committe and I have
some ideas but we need all your expertise to help us. Thank you.
