Is anyone familiar with an author named Kingsley Amis? We recently received a bunch of donated books and there are two by this author: Take a Girl Like You (1960) and Lucky Jim (1954). I don't really have time to read them right now so just wondering if I could gather some opinions from all of you as to the suitability of these books for our high school collection. There're pretty old, but if they have any literary value they may be worth keeping. Please advise. Thanks.
