Joe and others, It gets especially tough when the principal says yes to the PTA group and you find out when the PTA wants to borrow the LCD projector. It has always been tradition with my principal and PE teacher that a movie would be shown over closed circuit after field day. This year I said no. Teachers had no clue as to what to do. Some asked their kids to bring in movies. Of course the kids brought in PG. I stated copyright law at a faculty meeting and was laughed at. What do you do? Leaving isn't an option. It's one of the best schools in the state. When I ordered videos for the opening of the school four years ago the principal nixed popular videos and wanted only curriculum related stuff.
